Liberation Lab
Book Club

In a world shaped by uncertainty and accelerating change, it is no longer enough to simply collect teachings, ideas, and insights. The question at the heart of this year’s Book Club is: What do we do with what we know?

We gather as yogis who recognize the uncertainty and suffering in the world and want to find meaningful, grounded ways to participate in its healing. This Book Club offers a space to learn, reflect, and take small but real steps from understanding into action.

what Do we with what we Know?

Throughout 2026, we will read authors who help us name the challenges of our time — ecological collapse, injustice, polarization, animal suffering, and the quiet forms of despair that live beneath them. These books offer not just analysis, but practices of attention, imagination, reciprocity, solidarity, and courage. They show us how clarity becomes a pathway to participation, and how even modest actions can become expressions of care for a world in need.

The book we are currently reading.

Our theme, What We Do With What We Know, is not a demand for perfection or a call to heroic transformation. It is an invitation to stay awake, to stay engaged, and to allow each book, each discussion, and each moment of reflection to shift us a little — toward deeper understanding, toward community, and toward meaningful contribution.

Living the Teachings

This is a year for yogis who feel the pull to align inner practice with outer participation. A year to explore tools that help us move through uncertainty with steadiness and purpose. And a year to remember that our practice is not separate from the world, but part of its healing.

If this resonates with you, you are warmly invited to join us. Many of the authors will be joining us as well.
